Is thickness a factor?Β
If you have any type of restraints on thickness, such as underbed storage, or you need to be able to lift the mattress up to get at drawers under the bed we would recommend theΒ Polar CUB mattress. It will be both light enough and thin enough to lift. If you are confident in your strength, the Polar MA is still manageable to lift, however if you are elderly or not as confident, stick with the Polar Cub.Β
How to Measure your RV Mattress?
We always recommend to measure the base of the bed where the mattress sits. We don't recommend measuring the old mattress you are replacing, since it can expand or shrink over time. This skews the dimensions and will give you an improper measurement.Β

Product Specifications - Cub RV Mattress
Support System
We use HD Bio Soy Foam that is CertiPurΒ© US certifified. The base is 6" Thick and can support up to 450 pounds (per side) due to the high density foam we use. We use higher density foam to ensure the mattress can be roll packed in our machines with no damage to the product.
Cooling System
We use 3 cooling systems in this mattress. Firstly, we have cooling Ice Yarn in the quilting layer, to shed your body heat away from your body and into the rest of the mattress. Secondly, we use conductive cooling gel memory foam in the top comfort layer. This type of foam is more conductive than insultating, and ensures your body heat is conducted away from your body and into the foam. Thirdly, we use hollow fill fibre in the quilting to produce better airflow through the quilting.
Comfort System
While support keeps your back properly aligned and waking up with no back pain. The comfort system is responsible for relieving pressure and ensuring you don't toss and turn all night. We built the cub with 1" pressure relieving high density cooling memory foam. We also added a 1" layer of elastomer based light bounce foam for a soft, but bouncy feel.

The Polar RV "Cub" Mattress offers independent sleeping surface for partners sleeping together in bed. When one partner moves, the other keeps sleeping.
Conductive Cooling Foam
With patented cool gel foam technology, when you touch it, it feels instantly cool. This is because it is more of a conductor than insulator. We use this advanced foam in the top comfort layer of the Cub mattress by Polar RV Mattress.
BLACK ICE Yarn Fabric for Cooling Surface
We use tencel based, Black Ice Yarn fabric in our quilting layer of this mattress. You will notice as soon as you touch your new Cub Mattress, that it is quite cool! This is because your body heat is being conducted away into the quilting.
CertiPUR USβ’ Bio Certified Foam
Only Certified Soy Based Foams used in our Pure Polar RV Mattresses. No harmful offgasing or toxic offshore foam chemicals. We pre-off gas all of our foams and materials in our factories to reduce off gas smells when you open your new Polar RV Mattress. We also use a synthetic, non-allergenic latex based low VOC glue to bind our layers together with state-of-the-art technology.
